Random Number Generator is a fair and just model which creates a situation where no one can control the outcome. We at Duelist King have enabled this model in the form or our NFT Mystery Boxes, where the user gets to buy a box for $5 and the outcome which is 5 cards inside it can’t be predicted.
Cards are of different rarity levels
1. Common
2. Uncommom
3. Rare
4. Super Rare
5. Special Super Rare
6. Legendary
These cards can be sold or traded on a marketplace. We don’t have control over the cards, so the only way to find out is to open the box. This creates a level playing field :)
About our game Duelist King (DK) is a democratized card game whereby all decisions made on the card issuance, distribution and proceeds allocation are governed by decentralized mechanics on blockchain for proven fairness, transparency and best interests for the community.
DK was powered by the DKDAO platform, a meta-ecosystem for game distribution and digital assets issuance. Can you please tell us more about #DuelistKing features? How do you want to reward the community, and how important is community to you?

The community means everything to us in the game — we want to invite them as collectors, creators, gamers and investors in our ecosystem regardless of their backgrounds.
Duelist King will kickstart the game yet will invite the community to join in and vote for their favorite design, game play and even contribute designs to the game if they have a knack for design. Another interesting feature is “card personalization” where we will issue a limited number of auction-based slots for community members to buy “card molds”, input their designs, buy customized packets of scores and configure their own cards.
Apart from this we host regular giveaways and NFT drops which can be won to claim NFT mystery boxes!

Tell something about your marketing strategy, business plan, show us your vision of Duelist King in the next few years.

Duelist King aims to champion tokenization and democratization of card games. We also wish to open our ecosystem and later invite like-minded gaming projects to leverage our existing platform of DKDAO that underpins Duelist King operations.
Below are our key milestones:

Let’s talk about foundations, please explain for our community which chains do you want to use in your project?

Our NFTs were issued on Polygon during our INO, where we sold 50,000 boxes. We are migrating to Fantom and we plan to issue tokens on BSC later. We are also on OccamFi hence we will be building a bridge with other chains including Cardano and Solana in the future. Cross-chain is definitely a must for a global and community-oriented game and we are planning to do that with our own platform and also through partnership with our allies.
DePay, JennyDao among other partners that we are working with are also looking into fiat on-ramp and credit card payment to appeal to mainstream gamers and users. We do hope to have seamless and hassle free experiences for our users in the future.

Do believe that the game play and game designs are vital for our project to stand out. We are not trying to jam in the P2E space although we do offer P2E feature. We are investing in Win2Earn — appealing people with our design and game play so they can Enjoy — Engage — Earn instead. Also we do offer lower entry barriers and Free2Play mode for newbies to try out the game.
In short our differentiators can be recapped as follows:

We have an all inclusive system which consists of investors, creators, collectors and gamers. There is something for everyone.
So yes, it is very much possible to earn through the game without playing it and just investing in boxes and trading the cards on marketplaces like Refinable and Opensea.

We have been big fans of card games. Our gameplay is very much similar like Gwent.
The NFT element comes into place as all cards can be traded or sold in a marketplace, with that we give you true ownership of your in-game assets which you can play with as well.
Our team has an overlap of backgrounds from crypto and gaming so we used our crypto knowledge and paired it with a passion for gaming to make Duelist King.

Can you briefly explain the Play2Win and Win2Earn feature in Duelist King? Since most game projects are Play2earn, how do you compete with other projects? Can we also play for free? And is this platform recommended for gamers alone?

Our slogan is Free2Play — Play2Win — Win2Earn. We believe people need to Enjoy Engage and then Earn in the game.
We are offering the game play in Gwent style first yet there are 2 play modes — Free2Play which is more newbie friendly and the standard version that offers a higher strategization skills. Also Standard mode requires you to have 22 cards equivalent to 22 USD which is fairly low in terms of entry barrier vs. other card games so we do believe we can onboard more mainstream users.
We enable the community to drive the game causing a learning amongst gamers to have more ownership in their experience with Duelist King. Community has been the pillar of our project and we believe to be our advantage.
