DEV UPDATE + February summary

To demonstrate the strides that we’ve made in recent weeks and to fulfill our commitment to openness and effective communication upon which the Synapse Network was founded, we’re delighted to share with you the most recent advancements in our development efforts that we’ve been hinting at in previous releases. Here’s a summary of what we’ve already accomplished:

During February, our main focus was to improve our website interface, detect bugs and, more importantly, optimize our solutions to be the best possible product for our community as well as for future SaaS business users. Additionally, we implemented new versions of our previous solutions to build up even more upon the foundation we have laid over the years:
- Development and deployment of an optimized, versatile smart contract for Prize Distribution in competitions.
To streamline the distribution of prizes in the various Synapse competitions, we have created and deployed a gas-optimized, versatile smart contract. This smart contract is designed to accommodate various types of competitions and prize structures, making it a reliable and efficient solution for a wide range of use cases. With this smart contract, we aim to reduce costs and minimize errors associated with traditional prize distribution methods. - Roll out a new version of the staking portal as part of white-label solutions.
As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering top-notch software solutions, we released a new version of our staking portal. This portal will be available to our partners as part of our white-label solutions, allowing them to offer staking services to their customers. The new portal will be more user-friendly, intuitive, and feature-rich than the previous version, offering an enhanced staking experience for both partners and customers alike. - Implementation of the test environment and optimising API for SaaS solutions.
To ensure the smooth operation of our software as a service (SaaS) solutions, we have developed a test environment specifically designed to test and optimize our application programming interfaces (APIs). This environment will allow us to simulate real-world scenarios, identify potential issues, and make necessary improvements to optimize our APIs. By doing so, we can offer our customers a more seamless and reliable experience with all of our SaaS solutions.

🔝 WHAT ELSE HAPPENED? 🔝
The month started with a sprint for all of our users, with the CREW3 platform performing admirably well. Each XP point earned by the Synapse Warriors during the sprint increased the number of SNP tokens we burned. In addition, the three people with the most XP points could count on a prize of $20 in SNP tokens for each winner. At the end of this sprint, the total number of burnt tokens reached 36050 SNP tokens. Also, congratulation to the winners that managed to get on top of that podium.
We also hosted a Gleam competition co-organised with the #Arrland project to win 30 NFTs entitling them to play in the Pre-Alpha phase of the project. A few simple tasks had to be completed by our users to try their luck in the draw.
In addition, an AMA event was held on our channel with the Arrland project. It was a record-breaking event as it lasted several hours! Consistency is key, and like clockwork, we released our summary for the month of January, choke full of interesting news about what Synapse did at the beginning of the new year. if you missed it and are curious about what work our team did during that time, just check it out!
It is worth noting that after a long pause due to the bear market, the sale of the previously mentioned Arrland project took place on our platform. A satisfactory amount was raised and you can read about the details of the sales round below.
We also reminded you of the possibilities regarding Synapse Tech Labs. Namely, through our solutions and skills, you can configure your own staking products, create your token, and much more. If you focus on developing dApps or writing smart contracts, the Tech Labs solutions we offer are definitely for you, so we encourage you to take a look at our cooperation table.
An important event was also hosted in Synapse’s country of origin with the CryptoSphere in Wrocław drawing a ton of attention to the DeFi ecosystem! We participated in the event, and many of the people who visited had the opportunity to meet us in person and talk to our upper management. We also handed out gadgets such as glasses or mugs with our logo and brochures about our project. It was a great time, and our CTO Wojciech Litwin and CMO Katarzyna Goldmann also spoke at the event. The event was held in Polish.
We also announced the winners of the SynapseNetworkYear competition — the contest was about using a hashtag, and writing what you wish for yourself and others in the new year that is also related to cryptocurrencies and the crypto market. Congratulations to the winners! In the competition, each winner had the chance to win 50$ in SNPs for their efforts.

Another thing we published was a survey, the question was: What attitude to the cryptocurrency industry do your friends have? We had prepared four answers to these questions, and for the results and proportion of votes, you can simply click on the link below.
Ah, that love! In February comes Valentine’s Day, like every year, and for this special occasion we have prepared another competition for you, this time it was to share with us your plans for this wonderful day. We received various comments, many of which were really cute, alongside many photos of couples in love. Two pairs of SNP mugs and a teddy bear were up for grabs! Congratulations to the winners! Of course, that’s not all, in addition, all tokens purchased during Valentine’s day were multiplied 14 times and burned, wasn’t it a beautiful Valentine for all of the Synapse users?
