DEV UPDATE + May & June Summary
As always, we are here to update you on Synapse’s ongoing focuses, while creating an easy-to-peruse summary of recent events and thus, we present you with the latest updates on the development activities that are ongoing in the Synapse Network.
What has already been implemented:

Our dedicated team operates tirelessly, working around the clock, seven days a week, to ensure your satisfaction and security.
Our team is composed of highly skilled experts who are constantly focused on optimising and improving various aspects of our platform.
Specifically, our attention is directed towards the backend processes and our network architecture, areas that play a critical role in all of our operations despite being mostly unseen.
Any potential errors in these areas can have a cascading effect on the system, hindering its smooth functioning.
We have acknowledged and addressed the recent issues with staking, which directly impact the calculation of SPN power.
Rest assured that we are actively implementing optimizations within the backend to rectify this situation. Moreover, we often find ourselves responding to external factors that are beyond our control, simply due to the complicated macro economical situation we are presented with.
For instance, our KYC solution provider, Fractal, underwent changes to their API, necessitating unplanned efforts on our part.
Additionally, Quicknode modified its billing rules for the use of its RPC service, leading to a significant increase in costs. Consequently, we will move to optimize this area accordingly to avoid any discomfort to our community.
Furthermore, we are capitalizing on the bullish movements of the market to enhance the cloud architecture of our solutions since we believe ourselves in the importance of seizing all the right opportunities
The preparation we have made, coupled with the optimizations brought in by our recent focuses will yield many fruitful results in the future, particularly when the much-awaited bull market starts to begin in full swing.
🔝 WHAT ELSE HAPPENED? 🔝 in May
May began with the announcement of a co-hosted competition with prizes worth a total of $17 000. The event is co-organised by several projects: Ertha, MOON, Spellfire, Secretum, Synapse Network, Moonstarter, Roseon, Mars4, Gamestarter, Dark Frontiers, Pixel Pix, AlterVerse, XMANNA, W3Guild, Pirates of the Arrland and Decimated. Prizes will vary and include NFTts, tokens and whitelists for future IDOs.
Up to 130 participants can win, and the chances of winning increase as more tasks are completed. Winners will be notified by email, so check it out!
As always, at the start of a new month, we have counted up the points that our Synapse Warriors have earned for completing tasks on the Zealy platform and burned the corresponding number of $SNP tokens. We would also like to congratulate the winners that made it to the podium.

What’s New In The Crypto World
An AMA with the Eden project also took place on our platform. Eden is a project that seeks to integrate people with nature by collecting herbs, fruits, and mushrooms or marking interesting natural spots on an interactive map. In mid-May, our team flew to the US for the Bitcoin Conference. There we were busy expanding our network of partners and our knowledge about everything crypto. You can check out our coverage by clicking on the links below.
To celebrate the TGE of our partner Synergy Land, we organised two competitions for our community. You had 5 chances to win $50 in SNG tokens and SNP tokens in each competition. Users had to complete simple tasks to be eligible for the winning draws. The list of winners can be found below:

We also pushed out a survey in May, and our question was: how would you describe your level of knowledge of blockchain technology? There were three answers and only one could get onto the podium, so be sure to check out who prevailed!
At the end of the month we announced another competition, it was about winning a whitelist for a free mint of NFT tokens from the Arrland project. The winning pot was about 30 NFTs, and to win you had to complete simple tasks on the Zealy platform. Congratulations to all the winners!

As usual, the month started with the launch of a new print on the Zealy platform. The first couple of weeks of each month are always a good time to join us in completing various tasks, and if you are interested in our collaboration with the Zealy platform you can simply click the link below.
We also held a competition with the Arrland project in which 20 places were up for grabs to win a special NFT made by the project specifically for the contest. A very important development that has been on our minds for a while was the announcement of the extension of the protection programme by one step. The Silver Investor Protection now applies to all rounds on the Synapse Network platform — regardless of whether the sales round is IDO, Public or Private. This option allows you, the user, to decide to return your invested money within 48h of the token being listed. If you decide to return your tokens, you will receive the equivalent of the amount invested in the project, minus a 5% transaction fee. The refund will only be possible if you have yet to collect any tokens of the project you invested in.
Moon, Crypto Mayhem, Ever Moon, Zetly, Arrland — what do all these projects have in common? They will be selling their tokens on our platform of course! So if you want to prepare yourself in advance for these sales, be sure to have the right amount of SNP Power by staking our tokens!

It is also worth mentioning that we held a sale of the Ozone Metaverse project, rumour has it that the TGE is planned for the 9th of July, but this information is not confirmed yet, so keep an eye on the project’s social media, as always we wish a successful listing to all of those who took part in the sale!
