JOINS GEMSTARTER BUSINESS ADVISORY TEAM.

Richard is a technology & corporate lawyer, advisor and tech entrepreneur, bringing over a decade of experience to the GemStarter team.

Currently the legal counsel for Temenos, the global market-leading software and service solutions provider to financial institutions, Richard works with a variety of stakeholders including tier-1 banks and leading cloud providers to negotiate large scale deals and cloud agreements.

Previously working at a top-tier law firm in Sydney, Richard has extensive experience advising some of Australia’s largest VCs and corporate incubators, a variety of technology start-ups, leading investment banks and managed billion dollar IPOs on the ASX.

Richard is also the co-founder and CEO of early stage legal technology company, DealTX, which is building an end-to-end automation and workflow solution for lawyers. Since founding DealTX, Richard has raised funds from early stage investors, led solutions design/architecture, technology project management and UX design, while simultaneously selling to early clients.

Richard is a keen blockchain enthusiast and private sale investor, comic book geek, anime nerd and gamer.
