GetKicks AMA SUMMARY
You are a Move2Earn project which in return offers a lot of rewards to users, for sure many new users will like the fact that they don’t need any additional crypto-currencies to join #GetKicks, can you tell us more about why did you choose Move2Earn and when did you come up with this idea?

So, we came up with the idea after one of our team members highlighted some of the issue/problems of some other M2E projects in the space during a casual conversation. One of these is the high barrier of entry for example. After diving a bit deeper in the M2E space, we also noted that the focus was mostly on solely on earning part and most projects forgot to bring in real next level designs and possible real-world utilities. Therefore, we decided to start Get Kicks.
$KICK and $LACE are tokens you will offer to our users. Both are the foundation of your project, could you explain to us what the user can gain by using each of them?

So, in short $LACE will be our in-game reward token. In the beginning $LACE can only by earned by staking $KICK and once our app launches also by walking, jogging or running. We are currently working on a proof of step model which determines the amount of $LACE earned with each step while at the same time creating a sustainable business model. This is something we are currently finalizing and are soon able to share more info about. $KICK is the native token of Get Kicks and will mainly be used for governance, staking, buying and trading NFTs.
Your app should be available on iOS and Android in the future, taking this opportunity, could you please introduce your team? From developers to everyone else involved in #GetKicks! Tell us about your experience in crypto and what you do on a regular day-to-day basis. Our community would love to know more about you.

Unfortunately, the other team members where busy so they couldn’t attent themselves but I can give you a brief overview of our team. So, we have quite a diverse team consisting of both men and women who all have been working within the crypto industry for quite some time. Some of them worked for crypto agencies (focussing on marketing) while others were already deeply rooted in various crypto projects (Projects leads & developers). Most of our team is situated in Amsterdam, while some others work remotely. Besides the people on our website, including myself there are some other developers and designers working behind the screens. We’re aiming to release the app a month after TGE and we’re looking to launch on IOS and Android simultaneously if the app stores allow us to do so.
Your project will offer a variety of game modes that the user will have to use to join in the fun with you, can you describe each of them briefly and give an overview of the opportunities available to the investor?

So, in short, we will start with the introduction of our Solo mode which will be available to all users. So, you won’t need to be paid for NFT in order to play Solo mode. Next to Solo mode, we will introduce Club mode which allows you to walk, jog or run together with friends and with that increase your earnings multiplier. After that Tournaments will be introduced where players are able to climb the leaderboards for special prizes. Moreover, we will also introduce a PvP mode which will allow users to sort of battle against each other by running a certain distance and betting on who will do so faster. Lastly, we’re looking into something we call background mode, which should enable the player to earn tokens while not even using the app!
As NFT is also part of your project I would like to ask you how you see this technology currently? What exactly does NFT offer in your project and what use cases do you see for this technology, in the future in the crypto market?
Pete
So, the technology itself is quite interesting especially within projects like ours where the NFT has a real value for the user instead of just being a cool picture of a monkey, tiger or whatsoever. The NFT allows the player to play all the game modes, but also determines things like your optimal earning speed, token output per Stamina and the amount of stamina you’re able to hold. I personally think NFT’s will get more and more utilities over time, like being able to use them in the metaverse. However, even though I said that it’s not just a cool picture. We’re currently working on some insane 3D NFT, which will definitely be cool..
As marketing is one of the key pillars of a successful future of the project, could you tell us more about your roadmap and plans for the future? We are also curious to know what you will be working on when winter comes and people are less likely to move from their homes?

In terms of our future plans, we’re currently looking at doing the last community raises before doing the real IDO. At the same time, we’re looking at CEX listings and are in talks with some really interesting (tier 1) parties right now. After TGE, we will introduce the staking of $KICK for $LACE and soon after that our first KICKS (NFTs) will drop. On the marketing side, we’ve onboarded quite some KOLs and we’re already in talks with a couple of sneaker/fashion brands to do collabs in the near future after the first NFT release. Besides that, there is so much more we’re working on, but I would suggest heading to our roadmap to get a clear overview of everything that we’ve currently planned!
Sport is healthy! Surely we all know this, long ago it was impossible to make money just because we are physically active, today it is just reality! But not everyone likes sports, so how would you convince a potential investor who is rather lazy to invest in #GetKicks?

However, even if you’re not the typical jogger or runner you’re still able to earn by walking. Everyone needs to go out at some point, so just get a KICK (NFT) which has the optimal speed of walking and use that to earn. Moreover, we aim to be there for everyone. If you really hate walking for some reason, but want an insane looking KICK NFT, we’re also the place to go to. Maybe keeping your deadstock Grail KICK will double in price, who knows.

Is this your project only for elite investors, how about others with small funds, is it open to everyone?
Pete
Think this is a good one. So, to clarify we want Get Kicks to be for everyone so also when it comes down to investing. That’s one of the reasons why we chose to host multiple small community raises instead of just using 2 launchpads for the whole public raise. We want to make this project as accessible for everyone.

Which parts that really make GetKicks stand apart from other move to earn concept and not just following the trend situation?

So as already emphasized before, we focus on being accesible for everyone by introducing a free to play mode using the standard free NFT users get. Moreover, we’re focussing on not only creating value in terms of the move to earn industry but beyond that. By trying to colaborate with sneaker and fashion brands and looking to introduce real-world value

What’s your main focus right now, are you focused on the community or market/Exchange or the products?
Pete
We’re currently mostly focused on creating the sickest designs within the game together with our app, so that should be product. However, at the same time we’re of course also talking with exchanges for listings and trying to grow the community with our community raises and access code giveaway (in our Discord)

Did you consider community feedback/requests during the creation of your product in order to expand on fresh ideas for your project? Many projects fail because the target audience and clients are not understood. So I’d like to know who your ideal consumer is for your product?
Pete
So we indeed appreciate feedback and requests from our community. Moreover, our idea is built on complaints/issues we saw with other projects, which weren’t fixed.
