Kitsumon Land Sale INO Project Announcement

After two very successful IDO and INO phases, Kitsumon is pleased to announce the details of their highly anticipated NFT land sale in partnership with the Synapse Network.

Kitsumon is an NFT game about collecting, breeding, and caring for adorable Kitsu pets.

You can choose what you want to do from multiple play-to-earn professions like farming, fishing, and cooking, explore their deep and rewarding NFT breeding system, or even go all the way into the Esports aspect of Kitsumon and pass hours honing your skills in their MOBA PvP modes and land acquisition modes.

As a Kitsu Trainer, you can breed your Kitsus together to create Hybrid offspring, thus increasing your NFT value exponentially whenever you are successful in breeding your preferred traits.

The Kitsu game characters have been developed in a unique way compared to how you usually build modular game characters: usually when you have completely interchangeable body parts, animations and rigging you can’t really implement new ways to diversify those characters outside of an editor.

But Kitsumon boasts 44 individual Genes per Kitsu, acting as an entropic randomizer into a first-of-its-kind 3D generative game asset render pipeline.

This allows for the creation of completely unique game characters that are directly derived from their own bloodline with each Kitsu being a product of its own traits, with elements, abilities and much more passed down through Kitsumon’s unique DNA contract system.

Hybrids are able to access inherited properties from parent A and parent B, both in terms of their aesthetics and their traits, in the form of attacks and/or passive abilities.

One of Kitsumon’s play-to-earn mechanics enables players to earn from the breeding process through their “bloodline” smart contracts, that embed the creator addresses into their NFT, thus allowing them to collect royalties from all the future sales of the hybrid Kitsumon, as well as from future offspring that may be produced from the original hybrid.

Kitsus main utility is to fight for victory with and against other players in multiple Battle Arena (MOBA) game modes like 3v3 and 5v5.

Sharpen your edge and level your Kitsu in the training grounds, hone your skills and crush your foes for amazing prizes. Players will be able to compete in seasonal leaderboard tournaments to win $KMC, directly tying the Kitsu Moba with valuable rewards.

This means that competitors will be at their most effective state by utilizing secondary markets or selectively breeding their Kitsus to assemble a unique team loaded with desirable attacks, abilities and stats to give to skilful users an edge over their foes.

Alternatively, all players will be able to use their Kitsus abilities in the multiplayer open-world RPG thanks to the Kitsumon profession system, with which players will be able to own land and assume different roles in the Kitsumon world.

Kitsus passive abilities may have an effect on the land owned by their players, such as increasing outcrop output, mining output, or other useful metrics, providing more utility to Kitsus whose stats may not be appealing to MOBA battles, as well as adding additional secondary mechanics to an ever-growing hybrid Kitsu population.

Land in the Kitsumon World comes in the form of 13 types of different biomes, with each one being its own biogeographical unit that has different properties affecting the Gameplay: luscious forests are better suited for growing crops while desert plains have better mining outputs, giving players a diversified and unique overarching ecosystem.

The Kitsumon World has been modeled using Height Maps and climate data to procedurally generate a lifelike experience, even in a fantasy ecosystem, with the warmer equator resulting in more desert land and tropical rainforests, while getting closer to the poles means that greener pastures, plains, mountains and glaciers are present.

Each coming with its own Biome data, Kitsumon lands can be represented as one of three rarity types “Standard”, “Special” and “Premium” (distribution 70%, 20% and 10% respectively).

The different rarity of each new biome increases land output and allows for access to higher-level gameplay as well as the creation of higher-level crafting buildings.

Owners of Premium land will also be able to build their own battle arenas, in which they can host their own MOBA tournaments amongst friends, or even to the wider public of the Kitsumon ecosystem.

Land ownership also gives different advantages to the players, with each owner being able to assume a different profession. Users can level up their Kitsu trainer in 6 different Jobs, such as farming, cooking, fishing, mining, crafting and alchemy.

Everyone can become a jack of all trades, a master of one, or anything in between and to the sides.

Be a genius of agriculture and turn your harvest to cash, cook up amazing dishes to supercharge your Kitsus for battle, or just relax by the sea to catch some fish.

Everything you grow and craft in the Kitsumon World is represented as a different NFT asset that provides utilities to all the styles of gameplay Kitsumon offers.

Produce tasty food recipes to restore the health of a Kitsu after battle, create potions to lower breeding cooldown timers and explore all the possibilities that the Kitsumon world offers you.

Players’ assets can be bought and sold in the Kitsumon marketplace, creating a player-driven economy which is underpinned and directly tied to the $KMC utility token, thus ensuring that no tampering can be brought in by outside forces, and granting to the players themselves the right to organically grow the game ecosystem.

The amazing news that we shared above is just part of some of the reasons we are proud to once again reaffirm our partnership with the Kitsumon team.

We once saw their potential and praised their highly interwoven ecosystem, but we couldn’t expect to see this much progress in such a short period of time, and we are now more than happy to see their continued success and be a part of their growth.
