KLON AMA SUMMARY
Since the metaverse is still in development and not many people understand what the revolution it introduces is all about, could you please tell our community what the metaverse is to you, and briefly what mission #Klon want to accomplish in the blockchain space?

Oh, man, that’s a great intro question. And it will take a few lines to complete! When I look at the current platforms. Meta, Roblox, Decentraland, Sandbox etc. you can quickly get the feeling that the metaverse is a game,- and avatars are the game characters. This in no way coincides with my idea of the Metaverse.
For me, the Metaverse is defined by these 5 pillars:
3D, synchronous, Persistent, Interoperable, and Unlimited so we are talking about nothing more than upgrading the Internet from 2D to 3D.
The Internet becomes walkable. We won’t scroll through websites in the future, we will experience the internet. When it comes to the mission of KLON. Then it’s about understanding our mission in such a way that on this new Internet, we enable every person on the planet to have the perfect digital copy of themselves. Combined with a trusted, decentralized identity layer.

It’s true, we are now experiencing a very big jump from one sphere of the internet to another, it’s a very big challenge, you have taken an interesting direction!

Sure… And we still have a lot to build to make the vision of this “metaverse” become reality… On every single edge of the idea of this metaverse. Just an addition to KLON specifically: In the future, the KLON is able to represent a human being in a legally binding way in all its facets in the metaverse. KLON thus consists of the Avatar Layer, the Identity Layer and the Access Layer, where the interoperability takes place. That’s in a nutshell what we’re working on.

I can honestly say that doing research for your project, I was surprised by how many aspects you want to combine, I even had the impression that you would like to transfer man and his entire personality to the virtual world, and my association immediately reminded me of the storyline of #Cyberpunk where people were connected to artificial reality and there they experienced things that are normally unattainable for them, do you see the future of humanity in a similar light?

The idea of immortality or getting rid of the limitations of the human body is as old as mankind itself. We first know it from the Gilgamesh epos 2000 bc in written form. But also when you see the story of “Avatar” “Matrix” “Altered Carbon” and “Ready Player One” they all share the idea of expanding the identity to an avatar… And this is much more than just a game character… So yes. This will be the direction. But it’s a long road to go.
Our investors are keen to get to know you better, when looking to invest money in a company, people look at all aspects of the company, so I would like you to tell us more about your team, who you are, what is your experience, is there anything you would like to mention and highlight, something that makes you unique as a team, compared to other people operating in a similar space as you?

I have more than 20 years of experience in advertising and marketing. I have run an independent media agency and I founded an advertising technology company with a combined more than 100 employees, with a yearly spend of more than 250m USD. So.. my background is in advertising and marketing. But then I got attracted by decentralized technologies and got into the blockchain sector. I started by consulting celebrities and Brands regarding social Tokens and NFT collections. So we were pretty early back then. But KLON is my dream to complete. Something that brings value and control to the people. The opposite of google and FB. My CTO Jake worked for unreal engine and was also part of the tech team behind pancake swap. also very experienced in leading bigger projects on- and off-chain. So all in all, we are a small core team of about 9 people. But we have a special setup with very close and trusted partners. this gives us the flexibility to scale up and down the resources in a very flexible way, especially in this very bumpy crypto-year this is extremely important. And makes it possible that we are financially very healthy
You are creating avatars which are supposed to be a reflection of the user in the metaverse space, it is worth adding that they are supposed to function in different metaverse on different blockchains, I would like to ask about a rather interesting topic which is the “Klon Score” — it is supposed to reflect social status in the Metaverse and entitle to rewards. Can you say something more about this mechanism and the rewards that await users?

These are multiple questions. Of course, they are supposed to work on different blockchains in different metaverses. But not only in decentralized but also in centralized metaverse projects. This needs standards, we are taking part in defining the standards together with the whole space in the:

Because without common rules, true interoperability is not going to happen. and it can not be achieved by a single project. So that’s why we’re even working with competitors. The second part: The KLON Score (SKOR) is a very exciting topic. First, the scoring model is used to encourage users to use the KLON as actively as possible and to complete the digital identity as much as possible. For this, the user receives SKOR points, which are then reflected in higher staking rewards, for example. In a second phase, a marketing layer is added to the scoring model. This means that our partners can trigger events/quests etc. in their metaverses via KLON. By participating, users will earn more SKOR points, which in turn will lead to rewards. And so it will develop in such a way that e.g. exclusive access to auctions, events etc. will be possible based on the number of SKOR points. And so again advantages for those users with high SKOR arise. And as a final evolutionary step, the SKOR scale can also be seen as a “trust scale”. So who enjoys a high reputation and trust represents this through his SKOR. This in turn creates opportunities, again without anyone having to reveal actual data about themselves. Privacy is the top priority. At the same time, we still create trust with the other party.

It’s definitely something that is very interesting, I would say probably even pioneering because I personally haven’t yet encountered something like (SKOR) in the Metaverse.

We have to be careful with the Scoring model.

However, I know that cooperation with other entities is the basis for building a strong position in the market, and the best way to gain acquaintances or access to other technologies, and I also appreciate this in your strategy.
Synapse Network is not the only partner of #Klon this shows a great interest in your product, please tell us more about the partners who support you, believe in your success and are wherever you need them to be, how did you get such a large number of them, what is the cooperation with them?

I could talk about that forever. We live from partnerships. We want as many people in the world as possible to create a KLON. And we can only do that through partnerships, integrations and trust. In the end, it’s a lot of hard work, dozens of meetings and conversations. We are also far from finished. But we can define 3 different types of partners: Metaverse/Game Partners, Advisors financially marketing etc, and Tech partners. And with all of them, we have separate scopes of work. So this means they all have different expertise and we only try to get their core expertise of them.

I understand that there is a wide range of them, I am glad that you are acting in this way while the market is not quite optimal as far as investments are concerned, still, the world situation is a bit uncertain, but this is what characterises good projects, hard work, in silence, keep it up!

Now let’s talk about the $KLON token, how will the community holding your token be rewarded, please expand on the usefulness of the token, tell us what it will be used for, and what the user can count on. Most definitely want to find out as much as possible about income opportunities.

Let’s start here:
First of all. As long as you want to use the KLON, you need to stake a certain min. amount of KLON Tokens. Where you get rewards from. Depending on the Evolution of your KLON and your SKOR and so on. The KLON Token is also a transaction currency to interact with other metaverse currencies. So you will be able to buy entry tickets, access to shows, wearables etc. with your KLON tokens. And of course, there will be premium functionalities within the KLON Ecosystem.
Also, our Partner will need KLON Tokens to push Events and so on in our community. This is combined with several burn mechanisms and deflationary mechanisms. We also have further use cases down the line, which I don’t want to reveal atm. But be sure, that we really know about the importance of a real-world token utility from the beginning to have a healthy ecosystem

A useful token with multiple ways to use it is somewhat of a foundation in crypto, it’s good that you have put emphasis on this very plane, I liked most when you wrote about the burn mechanism, deflation and the transaction currency in your ecosystem, good job Philipp!
Your project is to offer live access to fashion shows, concerts, live sporting events and many other events in the future, can you tell us more about what this usability is supposed to consist of?
Philipp
These are just ideas for future use cases for the people using the avatar. We are already going much further behind the scenes. You have to understand the avatar as an extension of your own identity in the digital space. As I mentioned in the very beginning, in other words, it’s about building the personality of the avatar. Here we are talking about university degrees, certificates, CVs, etc. All this will become part of the avatar, and this is way more powerful than just visiting a sports show or having exclusive access to a branded fashion show. This is cool too.. but not the end, so together with KLON you will walk through the new internet as real personalities. And you will visit events with it, apply for jobs and so on. What is effectively behind the idea of KLON is scalability on a personal level. You can suddenly be 1000. These use cases are much more exciting than simply going to a concert in Roblox.

You must have spent a lot of time thinking it all up and then translating it into a programming language and then into something that ordinary people can understand, but you are here and we will probably soon be planning our start in the crypto world. This is impressive..

The interesting use cases are the ones that do not yet exist. Your KLON will be, in the very future, your personal AI, which acts in your interest, and not in the interest of a company. Imagine going through the first 5 levels of applying for a great job with your $KLON 1000 times… At the same time, this is the very future… But everything we do goes in this direction.
Can you describe how your platform works, how the “Clone cockpit” will work and look like, what the user will find there and what actions they will be able to perform from within your app? Share pictures or sneak peeks with us if you can, of course, our community is very curious about your product.

I can understand that very well. Nevertheless, I don’t want to leak any pictures of the effective product yet. Please be patient for a few weeks, what I can say is that you will have a Netflix-like overview, with access to all possible games/metaverse projects, rooms and so on. At the same time, there will be an overview of all your avatars you use, if you want to, and the same goes for all your belongings in the digital space. Those connected to the decentralized KLON ID. and then of course all the functions that are important for identity management. So that you always know exactly when you make which information accessible to whom. We also want to make access super easy for people who are new to web3. So web2 logins will work. And we handle the web3 stuff in the background. This means we already will have Identity, Avatar and Access Elements in the MVP.

You are at a very advanced stage of development of your platform, no one from your team is idle, it can be seen and felt by reading what you have written. Of course, I understand that you don’t want to share concrete images with us yet, but we all know that patience is a virtue and it is worth waiting for a little for the final result and then admiring the effects of the work of the whole team…

I hope your community thinks this way too. Crypto tends to be fast. Sometimes a little too fast if you are really building such a complex and layered product. You just need time to do it right and that’s what we do. We are strong and healthy. So we do not have to hurry to satisfy some people who want to rush. We just keep going and will convince the community with the results.

Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space.

This is also a great question. For a project, it’s important to have trusted partners and investors. So from the beginning, we worked on a very well-balanced investor setup. Like long-term lead investors, some communities, but really not too much. Also when it comes to launchpads we are very careful. Regarding the attraction out of the crypto space, I’m very well connected with a few very influential people and brands in the world. This means this will play an important role after the MVP launch. To use these resources now would be a waste of energy and efficiency. This is for phase two when we need to push the numbers of users from the thousands into the millions, for you to know we have already 150k pre-registrations.

Can you tell us about your team members? are they qualified and professional in their fields? what are the recruiting qualifications for team members for your extraordinary project?

So our core team are true friends of mine. Every single one with great expertise in his/her field of work. So, trust is the key to success…When it comes to our people who do the groundwork. We have clearly defined skill sets that we expect. But our partners like supra oracles and steady dynamic are just super professional in every single way. So, we don’t have issues with quality or deliverables atm. But sure… At some point, we will in-house all the resources and then this question becomes more relevant. but not immediately.

This is something which will be decided later down the timeline. At this moment we need to be fast and flexible… Governance will follow later.
