Can you introduce yourself and the core team of #MetanEvolutions to the community? What is your background?

Hi everyone, My name is Benjamin. I am a 6+ year game full-stack developer and CEO of Metan Evolution. The most successful game I have developed (as core team member) reached >200M players and Metan Evolutions is the second blockchain project I have joined. Our core team have worked for a year with around 20 full-time employees. All of them are talents in their own sector, with more than 5 years of experience.

Sounds great, can you tell us what the name of that earlier game was? Experience, as well as passion, is very important for us, especially for investors who take it into account when buying a project.

As you may know, we start as a traditional game called Zoombie War, which is available to download from Appstore or Playstore. We have launched it for a year and we have a massive community of players at the momment, we have 1.5M MUA and >500K of downloads. the game also generate around 2M in term of revenue and we believe it is a very successful project
#MetanEvolutions is a combination of tower defence and turn-based arena, can you introduce the gameplay of METAN to everyone?
Benjamin Dinh
So we combine diversify of game play including PVP, PVE, World Boss, Clan, Daily Quest … All of them have their own advantage and all are very attractive and competitive to play.
You gotta know how to arrange and settle your team to have the most effective team to win against the enemies. So the game play is quite tactical if players go deeper in the advance rounds. After joining each game mode, players will get the reward which can be used to upgrade their metans. By that way you can make your team become stronger and easier to win the next round then get the bigger reward.
What sets #MetanEvolutions apart from other projects? Is there anything that gives you a competitive advantage?

Beside being tower defense game, we focus on increasing players interaction by some game mode like World Boss, the very unique one, and Clan, which allows people with the same interest come together. Player wont only fight to the machine/boss/mod but also can compete to each others. So beside maintaining players experience in game, we also keep nuturing player interaction. That is why we got a massive community of players at the moment.
As we know, players will be able to collect NFT items during the game and increase their values over time. Can you explain which types of benefits your project offer for users? What use cases will the $METAN token have?
Benjamin Dinh
Entertaining would the the first benefit because we are making a game, then we also have free-to-earn and play-to-earn mechanism for people who love investing, or even people who just spend a little of money can join by renting heros and start the game to get the reward. We also have staking farm which allows people who stake NFT and METAN could get the METAN as the reward.
About the utility of METAN token, people holding METAN can get revenue share of the project, and only METAN can help you join special events, buy NFT box, and of course it is a type of crypto, you can trade it as well.

Can you tell us what $METAN is currently working on? What can we expect in the future? Can you also tell us where you see your project in the next few years?

We are going to launch our marketplace to sell and rent NFT, this is our first special and important event. After that we will launch PVE mode on blockchain in quarter 2, then will be mobile version. However before that, people can stake METAN and MTE from the very early stage.
So we hope our NFT can give you guys so much chance to earn money and also we hope METAN EVOLUTIONS would be on your list of daily app because you will love it whenever you play it.
In long-term we desire to build our own chain, build up our own ecosystem so players can have their own kingdom and have more thing to do, both earning and playing

Our backers are very strong. So far, we can mention some of name such as Shima Capital, K24, Insignus, 4SV, OBL. We are going to IEO on Bitmart and listing on Gate and launching on some other launpad like Trustpad, Babylons, NFTpad and of course Synapse is also one of the big partner coming on board. We also have great network of partners from VCs, Advisor and Marketing all over the world but still in discussion.
What would you tell a potential investor to convince them to invest in $METAN ?

The project of Metan Evolutions itself knows who it should go with because we have our own vision and mission. So we only reach out VCs that really valuable to us from the start. We wont say anything outside the conversation we had today in this AMA. We showed what we got, what we target to and what we are going to do. Most important thing we show investor that we looking for long-term investors who can stay as long as possible so that we can make our dream come true and all we focus is just our players, to have them enjoyed and now to have them beneficial from the game by earning some money.

Yeah quite controversial topic, our team was affected a bit because we have to WFH but soon everything come back to the track, we still keep up the progress and follow our road map strictly.

We are global project, we have our player from all over the world and the most biggest market is USA. In the future we may focus more on players from China and other Asian countries, then Europe as well.

Only holding METAN (our governence token) is allow to vote or make decisions with the project, but you gotta hold a specific amount of token to have that right

Revenue is an important aspect for all projects to survive and maintain the project/company. How have you been able to build a complete project and what is the way to generate profit/revenue of the token? What is the income model?

For the traditional game we got 2M USD in term of revenue, half of them coming from advertising, half of them is from player buying items in game. For the blockchain one the revenue will come from all actions of the player when they buy NFT, upgrade there hero, open special gift box and join special evens, and last but not least is advertising

Many projects have problems with UI / UX and this one turns off new users. How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users and with users outside the crypto space?
Benjamin Dinh
For people outside the crypto space, we use game play to keep them come and stay
For the people inside the crypto space, we use NFT to attract them to stake and play then finally is game play to keep them play to earn.

Are you planning to promote your project in countries / regions where English is not good? Do you have a local community for them to better understand your project?
Benjamin Dinh
Yes but we dont really need to build community for better understand our project, we build community to provide more value for player. We know our project by our own data base, we optimize the game base on our data base generated by the system

I think the idea from NFT gaming market is related and maybe can attract gamers who don’t know nft world, because gamers are far and skeptical about playing to earn, And from investor point of view it’s better to buy $METAN tokens or better buy NFT on Marketplace #METAN EVOLUTIONS ? and have you thought about how to bring in big industry players in your market? because if you do that the success of the project will be huge

For investor who is venture capital they may interest in METAN first then NFT if their is any chance to get the super rare one, for the investor who is individual it should be NFT because you are able to stake NFT and also use NFT to enter the game and earn more.
We trying it step by step, of course we want as many players as possible but it is not an easy cake, we still have alot of things to do from now as the road map is quite strict upto the end of 2023

Too many projects promise magic but never release any working product or prove any revenue, Within a short/long time of release. Is your project also like this? If not can u tell us, What makes your project different from other projects?

As I said, we already have the revenue and we showed to our partner already, that is why they agreed to come on board.
About the game, we are confident about the game play and game art because it is proved by our large community of players in the traditional one
Our core value is the game play so we focus on that as our long term plan

Almost 80% investors have just focused on price of token in short term instead of understanding the real value of the project. Can you tell us on motivations and benefits for investors to hold your token in long term?
Benjamin Dinh
Very interested question but I bet that none of project can give you the exact answer. As in the stock market, the good company will not have their stock price go up everytime. But people still buy and stake it, because it may be a very secure asset, or it could booming in the future. We have renueve share for whoever hold our governence token (METAN) so we will make sure that no body left behind.

Do you have any plans to attract non-crypto investors to join your project? Because the success of a project attracts more investors who haven’t yet entered the crypto world. What are the plans to raise awareness about your project in the non-crypto space.

Good question as well, just re-mention for you guys that our non-crypto player community is very big, so the problem here is just how to convert them to the blockchain version. We still provide free to play and nothing changed with the traditional one but all items in game would be NFT. We will organize mini game and give away event to reallocate people from the traditional one to the blockchain one, at the same time we try to sell NFT to attract people from crypto market to stake and most important is to play the game and get bigger reward
